INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER (INVESTMENT BANKING) - based in Singapore

 

Our client is an investment bank in Singapore

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

 

o Guide and influence the infrastructure and development teams to converge on a deployment architecture.
o Deliver high quality, resilient, stable and highly available ecommerce infrastructure solutions

o Follow the bank's development methodology and fulfil it's requirements

o Manage project financials, projections, resourcing and timescales
o Advocate delivery excellence, minimising  delivery risk.
o Build relationships with key stakeholders, Business, developments managers inside/outside FM, Infrastructure units etc.
o Be engaged in the process to hand infrastructure support over to global TSS teams

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

o Proven experience in co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment

o Excellent knowledge of all aspects of solution delivery lifecycle

o Exceptional knowledge of hardware and network

o Understanding of how best to deploy infrastructure components
o Strong grasp of the infrastructure and deployment requirements of an ecommerce environment

o Rigorous approach of project methodology appliction

o Must have an excellent working knowledge of the design of scalable, high availability, distributed architectures including three tier and N tier
o Must have an excellent grasp of messaging and communication protocols including point-to-point (TCP), multicast (UDP) and RPC's including reliable and guaranteed messaging delivery policies
o Cognizant of architecture and heuristics for the dissemination of market data, quotes, and other real-time information
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Proven skills in co-ordination, staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams
